HIROSHIMA YEAH!, Issue #96, February 2013 More from Dan Susnara and this is his latest solo project, containing ten tracks of experimental oddness that remind me greatly of Nurse With Wound in their part creepy, part humorous mixture of samples (heavy breathing, radio static, animal noises, creaking doors, insect buzz, a bit from the “Haunted Bachelor’s Grove” received last issue, etc.) and strange/ambient/droney backing music. A couple of pieces—“Meanwhiles” and “Olaf The Overserved Visits Tropic World”—are more “songy” though, with the former sounding like Espers or someone of that ilk. A track from this will hopefully be on the “H.Y.!” compilation CD-R and I bet ya can’t fucking WAIT! You can also obtain a copy by writing to Dan, so WRITE TO DAN!
